Our Guarantee
Every paid plan on Monitoristic comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of your initial purchase. If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within this period — no hassle, subject to the eligibility criteria below.
Eligibility
You are eligible for a refund if both of the following conditions are met:
- Your request is made within 14 days of your initial purchase.
- This is your first refund request on Monitoristic.
You are not eligible for a refund if any of the following apply:
- More than 14 days have passed since your initial purchase.
- You have previously received a refund from us.
- Your account was terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
Upgrades and Plan Changes
If you upgrade your plan within 14 days of your initial purchase, the money-back guarantee still applies based on the original purchase date. If you upgrade after the 14-day guarantee period, the additional charge for the upgrade is non-refundable. You may downgrade your plan at any time, and the change will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are covered by the same 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. After the 14-day period, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel an annual subscription after the guarantee period, your access continues until the end of the annual billing period.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to [email protected] and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your refund within 2 business days of receiving your request.
How Refunds Are Processed
All refunds are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. The time it takes for the refund to appear depends on your payment method:
- Credit card: Refunds typically appear within 3–5 business days.
- PayPal: Refunds typically appear within 48 hours.
Cancellation vs. Refund
Cancellation and refund are two different actions:
- Cancellation stops future billing. You retain access to your plan until the end of your current billing period.
- Refund reverses the charge. Access to paid features ends immediately upon refund processing.
After the Guarantee Period
Once the 14-day guarantee period has passed, the following applies:
- Monthly subscriptions: No refund is issued for the current billing period.
- Annual subscriptions: No partial refund is issued for the remaining months.
- We do not offer pro-rated refunds under any standard circumstance, except where required by applicable law.
Exceptions
We reserve the right to issue refunds on a case-by-case basis outside of the standard guarantee period. Situations that may warrant an exception include, but are not limited to, extended service outages and billing errors. These exceptions are granted at our sole discretion.
Paddle as Merchant of Record
This policy applies to refund requests made directly to us. Paddle, as our merchant of record, may have additional refund obligations under applicable payment regulations. Refunds are processed in the original payment currency.
