Meet Link Manager Pro for WordPress

Full disclosure first: Link Manager Pro is made by Solvix Studio, the studio behind Monitoristic. This post is us introducing our other product to readers who run WordPress sites. Everything below comes from Link Manager Pro's own documentation.
Why It Belongs Next to Uptime Monitoring
Monitoristic answers one question: is your site up? It checks from the outside, because a plugin can't tell you a site is down when the site, plugin included, is down. (We wrote about that in how to monitor a WordPress site without a plugin.)
But a site can be completely up and still be failing. An affiliate program changes its URLs. A partner page moves. A post from two years ago links to a domain that no longer exists. Every page returns a healthy 200, and readers still hit dead ends. That problem lives inside the site, and it's the one Link Manager Pro is built for.
What Link Manager Pro Does
It's a WordPress plugin for managing your outbound and affiliate links from one place.
- Short, branded links. Turn long affiliate URLs into clean short links, with 301, 302, or 307 redirects.
- Click analytics. Total clicks, unique visitors, click-through rates, and geography, inside WordPress.
- Broken-link alerts. It checks each link's destination periodically and alerts you when one fails.
- Keyword auto-linking. Define keywords and the links they should point to, and it links them in your content.
- Bulk management. Update destinations site-wide, organize links with categories and tags, and move your library between sites with CSV.
It's aimed at affiliate marketers, content creators who recommend products, and small teams or agencies that manage a lot of outbound links.
What's New in 1.2.0
Version 1.2.0 (August 2026) added the AI Link Assistant, a panel inside the WordPress editor:
- Smart suggestions. It recommends relevant short links from your own library while you write. Suggestions only come from links you already have, so it can't invent a URL.
- Links to shorten. It spots untracked URLs in a post and turns them into tracked short links in one click. This part works without any AI provider.
- An editor access level. Authors and editors can shorten links and use the assistant on their own posts, without full plugin admin access.
- Site Health checks. New checks in WordPress's Site Health screen report broken links and your link-coverage grade, among others.
Requirements
WordPress 6.0 or higher (tested up to 7.0.3) and PHP 8.0 or higher. Current plans and pricing are on the Link Manager Pro pricing page.
Two Different Jobs
If you run a WordPress site, the two tools cover different failures:
| Monitoristic | Link Manager Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| Watches | Whether the site is reachable | Where the links inside it go |
| Runs | Outside your site | Inside WordPress |
| Catches | Outages, server errors, slow responses | Broken destinations, untracked links |
You can use either one on its own. For the uptime side, see monitoring for WordPress.
