Our Story
Built Because the Alternative Was Ridiculous
Monitoristic exists because we needed it ourselves — and everything else was too expensive, too complex, or built around a free tier designed to frustrate you into upgrading.
Why this exists
The Gap Between Broken and Knowing
We were running a handful of web products — SaaS tools, WordPress sites, APIs. Every time one went down, we found out from a user, not a monitor. A traffic dip a week later that lined up with a window nobody could explain. A server returning a cheerful 200 OK while the app behind it was dead.
The tools that would tell us first either cost $50 a month for basic features, buried alerts behind a free plan so restrictive it was useless, or shipped dashboards built for enterprise teams managing hundreds of services.
So we stopped waiting for the right tool and built it. Monitoristic closes that gap — you find out first, not your users.
The philosophy
Uptime monitoring should be simple. It should answer one question — is my site down? — and, when the answer is yes, tell you plainly: your site is down, take action. That's the whole job. No endless feature creep, no half-built integrations riddled with bugs. Just something fast, lightweight, and intuitive.

The Principles We Build By
Uptime monitoring should be a solved problem for any developer or small team. It isn't complicated — and it shouldn't cost a fortune.
Simplicity is a feature
Add a monitor in under 30 seconds. No agents, no YAML, no config files. Enter a URL and you are live.
See the featuresNo free-tier games
No crippled free plan engineered to frustrate you into upgrading. Every paid plan includes every feature — you just pick your monitor count.
Compare plansSpeed matters
A 5-minute check is how you learn your site was down for 4 minutes before anyone noticed. Monitoristic checks as fast as every 60 seconds.
How checks workHonest pricing
Plans from $5/month, with a 14-day money-back guarantee. No hidden add-ons, no per-seat surprises. The price on the page is the price you pay.
Read the guaranteeYour data, not ours
We do not sell your data or run ads. Payments run through a Merchant of Record, so we never see your card. Privacy-respecting analytics — all documented.
See who we useBuilt to last
Bootstrapped and independent — not VC-funded, not built to flip. We are in it for the long run, building in the open and depending on it ourselves.
Track what shipsBy the numbers
The Facts That Don't Change
We won't quote usage stats we can't show you live. So here are the numbers that are simply true — no dashboards required.
Honest scope
What Monitoristic Is Not
We're not trying to be a full observability platform. No server monitoring, no APM, no log aggregation, no real user monitoring. There are good, dedicated tools for all of those, and we won't pretend to replace them.
Monitoristic does uptime monitoring. It checks whether your URLs respond correctly, alerts you the moment they don't, tracks incidents automatically, and gives your users a status page they can rely on. That's the scope — and we intend to do it better than anyone at this price point.
How we're built
Infrastructure You Can Verify
We chose infrastructure that lets us run a reliable service without cutting corners.
Full technical detail lives on the Security page, and every third-party provider we rely on is listed on Subprocessors.
Who builds it
A Solvix Studio Product
Monitoristic is built and maintained by Solvix Studio — an independent software studio building practical tools for developers and digital product teams. We build things we use ourselves, and open them up when they're ready. Solvix also builds other tools, including Link Manager Pro and Licenzo — products you can go open and judge for yourself.
The people behind Monitoristic have spent the better part of a decade building software — from early-stage startups to products with millions of customers. That mileage is baked into this product: it's why checks are simple instead of clever, why the stack has few moving parts, and why every alert reads the way you need it to at 3 a.m.
Every decision is made by the people who build it — and who run their own projects on it. We know the specific dread of a dashboard that's gone quiet, and the relief of being the first to know instead of the last. Monitoristic is the tool we wished we'd had back then. We're still its most demanding users.
